Cambria County MPO Transportation Improvement Program (TIP)

The Twelve Year Program (TYP) functions as the formal guide for budgeting, design, and construction for improvements in all modes of transportation; and as federal and state funds become available, projects are implemented. The Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) consists of the first four years of the TYP. The two programs are updated biannually.

The Cambria County MPO is currently overseeing the biennial update to the Twelve Year Program (TYP) and the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) for Cambria County. The MPO will be accepting public comments on the program update documents through June 28, 2022. During this time, two public meetings will be held as follows:

Public participation in these meetings is encouraged and welcomed, and persons wishing to comment on the planning documents will be afforded an opportunity to be heard. Special accommodations will be made for the disabled, including visually and hearing impaired. Adoption of the proposed 2023 TIP and TYP update will be considered by the Cambria County MPO at its June 29, 2022 meeting.
