The municipalities of the West Hills Region have launched a community-wide survey to gather input on how residents and visitors experience the region. Feedback will help guide a multi-municipality comprehensive planning effort focused on strengthening neighborhoods, supporting family-friendly communities, and identifying shared opportunities across the region.
The survey is open to both residents and non-residents who live, work, shop, commute, or spend time in the West Hills Region. Community input is an important part of this process, and all responses will help shape future planning and investment priorities.

The survey will remain open from February 11 – April 10, 2026

The Cambria County Planning Commission is inviting residents to share their experiences and challenges with local transportation through a new public survey. This initiative seeks input from seniors, veterans, people with disabilities, low-income families, and all community members to help shape a more accessible and connected transportation network across the county.

“Understanding how people get around Cambria County is critical for Identifying gaps in services within our community,” said Mark Lazzari, Executive Director, Cambria County Planning Commission. “By participating in this survey, residents can directly have a say in the improvements they want to see with public transit, pedestrian pathways, and bicycle routes.”

The survey is short and easy to complete. Residents can participate online at https://bit.ly/CambriaHST

Responses will help the Planning Commission identify gaps in transportation services and develop strategies to better serve all populations.
