The project area for this corridor plan involves William Penn Avenue (SR 3037) in the Prospect neighborhood of the City of Johnstown.  We have defined the project boundaries as beginning at the location of the former Greater Prospect Store, located at the intersection of William Penn Avenue and Prospect Street and ending just above the site of the former Penneco houses.  The project area will extend approximately 1/2 block back from either side of William Penn Avenue.  The project area is defined in the maps below. One aspect that we will be studying is sidewalk condition in terms of accessibility and safety.  The following photos illustrate the present condition of some of the sidewalks along the corridor. (Click the to enlarge.)
